Christmas 2007                              Fitzalan House Girls Get Their Kit Off for Charity Calendar

The Calendar started life as a team building exercise based on the film 'Calendar Girls'.

The Girls decided that if they were going to go ahead with the project they would like to

support a local charity and chose WADARS - Worthing & District Animal Rescue Service to

be the recipient of any monies raised by the calendar.  WADARS are on call 24/7 caring
for and rehoming many animals in need in the Worthing and Littlehampton area. Almost
£3000 was raised.
And more....

September 2007                                                                            Open Day

Very many thanks to all those of you who came along and made the second Open Day held at
our main Littlehampton Surgery such a great success. There was much interest in the clinical
demonstrations  which  covered  anaesthesia  monitoring,  orthopaedic  surgery, cardiology,
ophthalmology, ultrasonography , parasite  control and nutrition  to mention but  a  few. The
stalls, tea, cakes and raffle raised  over £300 for local animal charity WADARS.

Summer 2006

New Ultrasound Unit

Ultrasonography  is an ultrasound-based diagnostic imaging technique used to visualize muscles
and internal  organs, their  size, structure and  any  pathological  lesions, making  them  useful for
scanning  the  organs. Obstetric sonography is commonly used  during  pregnancy. In  June  2006
we acquired a human hospital-quality ultrasound machine which has greatly extended our in-house
diagnostic capability and its sensitivity  allows accurate appraisal  of even  the most delicate areas.
